Access control
All businesses, whether small, medium or large, have assets that need to be protected from theft. There is also the issue of protecting staff and their property. It is common in buildings that are secured by locks and keys for doors to be left unlocked all day. This opens up the possibility of opportunist theft and malicious damage.
Electronic access control provides the most efficient and convenient way of securing your building and assets. Installing an access control system means that you will never need to change a lock again. Tokens or cards are issued to allow access through the controlled doors, and are easily barred from the system if they are lost, stolen or just not returned by someone who leaves your company. Barred tokens will not allow access through the controlled doors.
Once an access control system is installed, all doors controlled by the system will automatically lock when the door is closed. Anyone without a PIN or access token is unable to enter. If necessary, doors may be set to unlock during a designated time frame.
Access control can also offer flexible control over users' access rights. For example, all staff can gain access through the main door of a building, but access to internal areas may be restricted to those who have a specific need to be there. Access may also be restricted by time, only granting access to particular users at certain times of day or night.
We use only two mainstream access control products: both leaders in stand-alone and computerised systems. Dependant upon your individual application, we will design a fully integrated system to cope with your access needs and in some cases direct links to your intruder alarm or CCTV system.
With TDSi and Paxton Access Systems, we can cover ANY application you may have with direct technical support from our engineers and both manufacturers.
CCTV and remote monitoring systems
When remote monitoring is required we utilise a wide range of Video Transmission equipment. In today's environment, security needs to be rapid and effective. We have been instrumental in providing a first class service to our customers and normally install ADPRO transmission to our preferred monitoring stations.
With over 100 monitored sites in our care, it is paramount that the customer gets fast, effective response to unwanted visitors/intruders on site. The ADPRO equipment is, in our opinion, the most advanced level of site security, combining off-site surveillance with on-site recording. The equipment enables our Monitoring Station and Engineers to communicate with the site both audibly and visually to protect staff and deter or apprehend intruders.
We utilise Visual Verification solutions to provice off-site national CCTV and protection services for commercial, industrial and residential premises through the use of advanced digital technology. These systems allow the control and monitoring of cameras, opening and closing of gates, fire and intruder alarm systems and personal key holder protection services.
Both Visual Verification & Vaults Security are experienced in the full design, specification, installation and monitoring of Closed Circuit Television Systems. Full integration with Access Control and Intruder/Fire Alarm Systems can be achieved via our computer controlled digital storage and retrieval equipment.
Intruder alarm and prevention systems
We supply and install our own brand of intruder alarm systems, all of which have the option of being connected to a remote monitoring or access control system. This enables us to provide you wth an integrated system that satisfies all of your security requirements. Our systems are all certified to ISO 9001:2000 standards; a requirement of our NACOSS Gold accreditation.
The designs of our intruder prevention and alarm systems can be varied greatly, enabling us to provide you with a completely tailored solution. To complement our alarm systems, we offer numerous intrusion prevention devices, such as Smokecloak: we can provide your property with a complete defence programme.
Fire alarm systems
In a similar manner to our intruder prevention and alarm systems, we offer the complete installation and maintenance of certified fire detection and alarm systems. Again, we can provide remote monitoring and alerting for these systems: you can rest assured that your building will always be protected.
